This blog is to chronicle the life of our kids from birth and adoption into everyday occurances! We are a family on the go and I'm always yelling "Efird kids, to the car!"

HomeStudy COMPLETE...
Well, the homestudy was, well, pretty uneventful to say the least. Some pretty funny parts to it for sure, mostly with the kids. They asked Xavier if he wanted a boy or a girl, and of course he said a boy. They asked Naia the same thing, and of course she said a girl. Then they asked Xavier 'how many baby brothers are you going to get?" and he said one, whenever he asked what if we were to get to Xavier said 'No, that would be too many'!... He was too funny though. The kids were pretty good, and played upstairs for the most part of it all. No really hard questions for us either. Guess we've had pretty uneventful lives as far as the questions he asked goes. So from here on out, i'm guessing that we're joining 'the waiting game' (as if we weren't already doing that!)

Congratulations! I know how relaxed I felt after that was all over. Welcome to the waiting game - it is a bucket of chuckles...
YES!!!! What a great thing to have done!
Yes, welcome to the waiting game! And, once you get a referral, you get to wait some more! Wow! You would think we would all be such patient people by the time this is all over with...not! I'm hoping your wait time for referral is short! Congrats on getting the Homestudy complete!
