Manic Monday

Today was house cleaning day in the Efird household. I got up WAY too early, courtesy of Naiabean and just got started. I did about seven loads of laundry today. Along with sweepind and scrubbing all of our hardwood floors. Mopped the kitchen floors. Cleaned the kitchen. Dusted. Put up all said laundry.

Favorite part of the day....listening to my kids play in the water hose with each other! They all came in soaked, but oh they had a good time! Paxton took a turn with the hose and while I had my back turned he squirted me good! So I too was soaked! It was all good though. Now all my babies are sleeping. Paxton is still not sleeping real well, SO hopefully he'll sleep the night away tonight!

Sad Sad Day

Last week our sweet Kooper was run over. I think I've cried a little every day since then. Especially when I think about Paxton calling him Koopatroo. I miss him every day. Our house is a little quieter and definitely a little cleaner without him around! We loved him for the short time that we had him and will miss him for awhile still.

Happy Birthday Naiabean

Today is Naia's birthday. I can't believe she's 6 years old. This morning for breakfast she wanted her pancakes cut into heart shapes. We looked at her baby pictures this morning also. She wanted me to sing Happy Birthday to her b/c no one else was up yet! So I sang and she just sat and basked in it! Today she took 6 box tops to PE. She is such a sweet little girl. She can also be a stinker, but today's her birthday so I'll just say sweet things! She loves both of her brother so much. She is so good to Paxton. She wants to do everything Xavier does. She loves to smile. She is always loud! To her there is no indoor voice! So to my sweet little Naiabean....Happy Birthday sweet girl.

Truant Day at the Zoo

Last week Brent brother, Uncle Aaron, called to see if Paxton and I wanted to go to the zoo with him and Karter, his youngest daughter. She had missed her field trip the week before b/c she was sick so he was going ot take her the next day. Then he said, well heck, Let Naia skip school and come with us! So we did and the next morning bright and early, we took off!
